Meet Dr. Pepper

Larry

Larry Pepper, DMD grew up on Long Island, New York. He received his undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghamton. He then received his dental degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He stayed in Philadelphia to complete an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Following this a he spent a year in New Orleans, Louisiana completing a one-year fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where he concentrated on more complex surgical procedures. He then came to Harrisburg where he entered into the private practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Pepper has been involved in various societies aimed at furthering the growth and understanding of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He served on the board of the Harrisburg Area Dental Society for many years and served as this society’s President. He served in various capacities within the Central Pennsylvania Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons including serving as its President. He spent many years involved in the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and held many positions within this organization, including President. He has served as an advisor for both United Concordia and Pennsylvania Blue Shield. He is a diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesia. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Mid-Atlantic Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and the Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Pepper is married and has two grown children.
